Chances are your solenoid is burned up or maybe a loose connection. This is a cheap and easy fix. The solenoid is bad. If all of the door locks are inoperative start your diagnosis at the fuse box.

All three other door locks respond normally. If it s not sending a signal the fob will likely have to be replaced. The only way to lock unlock it is manually push the lock from the inside or use the key from the outside. Just make sure the key is on.

Have the same problem with my driver side lock i believe i need a new actuator. I have an 08 altima 2 5s and two days ago my driver s side door lock stopped working in response to the remote the keyless entry button on the door handle and the lock button on the inside.
