Password Based Door Lock System Using 8051 Microcontroller Assembly Code

The brain of this project is 8051 micro controller and relay is the heart of this project these are the two major component of this project.

Itis a simple embedded system with input from the keyboard and the output being actuatedaccordingly. Our digital code lock project is a simple electronic number lock system or an electronic combination lock using 8051 which has a preset 5 digit password stored inside the program the system collects 5 digit user input compares the user input with the preset password inside program and if the user input and stored password matches access will be granted by opening the door with the help of relay for a few seconds and closing it automatically after stipulated time. User have to enter the code. Security is a major concern in our day to day life and digital locks have become an important part of these security systems.

There are many types technologies available to secure our place like pir based security systems rfid based security system laser security alarms bio matrix systems etc. Electronic code lock using 8051 microcontorller. This system demonstrates a password based door lock system using 8051 microcontroller wherein once the correct code or password is entered the door is opened and the concerned person is allowed access to the secured area. This output loadcan be a motor or a lamp or any other mechanical electrical load.

Password based door lock system using 8051 microcontroller circuit design uses five major components a microcontroller l293d motor driver a dc motor a 4ã 4 lcd are connected to p3 0 gnd and p3 2 pins respectively. It is a simple embedded system with input from the keyboard and the output being actuated accordingly. If password does not match door remains closed and a message wrong password access denied is displayed on lcd. If the code matches the predefined hard coded code lock will open up and user can enter the room.

All the processing s will be done by 8051 microcontroller. A numeric password is hard coded in the 8051 microcontroller code. The password is already saved on 8051 microcontroller memory a predefined password is db 49d 50d 51d 52d 53d 0 if we convert this in to decimal we will get 1 2 3 4 5 so this is our password when we enter this password with the help. Here we develop an electroniccode lock system using 8051 microcontroller which provides control to the actuating the load.

Even now there are digital locks which can be operated using our smart phones means no more need to keep different keys just one smart phone can. When power supply is turned on a message enter your password is displayed on lcd. All the messages to input password access granted access denied will be popping up on 16 2 lcd on the right time.
